What changes within us over time? A Quarter Century traces a loose narrative about a group of friends in their 20's—learning to grieve, love, and upgrade their fashion sense—though it is performed by a cast over the age of 65. The narrative is interwoven with scores which invite performers to share feelings and routines from their real lives that touch on similar themes as the story. When performed, the piece keeps audiences in a state of pleasurable disorientation, wondering what age and experience we are seeing the world through.
